Bohumil Melichar

CV

Bohumil Melichar works as a researcher at the Institute of History, Faculty of Arts, University of Hradec Králové and at the Institute of Philosophy, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, where he is involved in a research project on Czechoslovak Stalinism. He is also an employee of the Czech Television, where he works on historical and social science education. He completed his doctoral studies at the Institute of Economic and Social History, Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. He specializes in cultural and social history of politics, history of radical political parties and currents, didactics of history and historical education.
